Author Crystal L. Bass to be honored with Prestigious Women of Power Award

July 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Thursday July 7, Women of Power will host its weekly event honoring women who have made significant contributions in business, community service, and other fields through their leadership and education.  Crystal L. Bass, author of Dark Clouds: A Charm City Family’s Struggle and CEO of Crystal Clear Publications, is among this week’s awardees joining the distinguished list of women who have been inducted into Women of Power. The event will be held at Eden’s Lounge in Baltimore from 7pm-10pm.

Each week the Women of Power award is given to individuals who have excelled in their fields and made an impact on the community. Author Crystal L. Bass has made these contributions with the release of Dark Clouds and the recent launch of the Precious Gems campaign to raise awareness of the importance of self-worth and self-esteem of young children, child abuse prevention, and healthy parent-child relationships.

“I am humbled to be inducted into Women of Power,” Bass said. “The opportunity to be a part of a sisterhood that consists of other women doing great things in business is very empowering.”
