By: Adam Schlachter, Exec. Director, UFASA United For A Sustainable America is excited to announce that UtilityFlame has agreed to sponsor our Disruptive Technologies Panel. Disruptive Technologies represent current and emerging technologies that are “bucking the trend” in their industries. These companies, like UtilityFlame, have developed a product or service that is changing the status quo in a way that is both environmentally and economically sustainable. The Summit, which is free and open to the public, will focus on the importance of proactively investing in the emerging green economy and facilitate dialogue on how sustainability can grow the economy and create jobs. Panel topics include: the financing of leading green projects, new disruptive green technologies, and corporate sustainability management. “The challenges of the new green economy requires the growth of partnerships and other collaborations to succeed,” says Anthony Cannon, UFASA President, “Events such as the Green Business Summit help to develop these partnerships and identify ways that groups can work together and help expand the ‘green’ economy.” The New Jersey Green Business Summit invites members of the business community seeking to integrate sustainability into their business – however large or small – and manage the accompanying opportunities and challenges. # # # About UFASA: UFASA, as a non-profit sustainability education group, has been hosting Green Business Summits throughout the country, and internationally, bringing together a collaboration of green and renewable vendors, products, companies, and key figures in the green movement.
