Trailblazing Fashion Designer Tiffany “T'Shemise” Walker Announces New Showroom

July 12, 2011 - PRLog -- Shreveport native and fashion icon Tiffany Walker announces the acquisition and launch of her latest showroom “Pink Lucy Showroom and Design Studio”. The showroom is located at 424 Kings Highway and is staffed with 3 employees. The showroom features revamped vintage clothing, a contemporary clothing line and thought-provoking glamorous accessories.
“Since I was a teenager, I always dreamed of having my own fashion line”, says Walker. “My dreams are coming to fruition as the result of hard work, focus, brand loyalty and step by step strategic planning. The new location will feature my exclusive designs and accommodate the growing demand for several hot ticket items from the "Pink Lucy" Collection.”
The "Pink Lucy" collection features edgy accessories (jewelry, handbags, hair ornaments) for the younger daring consumer while the “T’Shemise” line offers ladylike and demure dress silhouettes. Walker is known for her hip and whimsical clothing line which embraces and redefines freedom of expression through dress.  The line incorporates the hottest celebrity trends in vibrant colors and beautiful prints. “T’Shemise” is statement making clothing that screams being the center of attention and has been an integral part of the line’s loyal and fast growing supporters. Walker was featured in the 2010 Artspace Bubble Wrap Exhibit through the creation of a unique cocktail dress crafted solely of bubble wrap.
In addition to being an in-demand designer, she always finds time to mentor many high risk youth. Giving of her time and efforts is second nature to Walker as she also teaches fashion style camps and fashion styling and makeup artistry classes at Caddo Career Technology Center. Walker has been named one the most “Outstanding Singles” in Shreveport, Louisiana by SB Magazine and The Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce named her a 2010 40 under 40 honoree.
A cocktail party and ribbon cutting event with the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce will be held Thursday, July 21st from 4:00-8:00p.m. The event is open to the general public.
