July 13, 2011 - PRLog -- Los Angeles –  e-Stet, a full-service provider of electronic litigation support services, today announces that Yoeli Barag, Esq., the company’s president, recently began teaching a Legal Technology course during the Winter 2011 course cycle for UCLA Extension’s Paralegal Training Program (PTP). The course is part of the PTP’s core curriculum.

Barag’s course curriculum includes forensics, legal ethics, electronic discovery, and additional related topics. The course provides paralegal students with the technology background and hands-on practical skills required to effectively provide a value-add in their future employment.

“Litigation technology education for paralegals is becoming increasingly important in today’s fast-changing law office,” stated Barag. “e-Stet’s mission includes ensuring that the legal profession remains in line with important technology advances shaping the industry. I believe that my experience as a practicing attorney and my role with e-Stet have provided me with the skills and training to help make the Litigation Technology course a success. I am excited to share my knowledge with the PTP.”

Prior to joining e-Stet in 2009, Barag was a practicing lawyer with Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in New York, where he focused on commercial legal matters. Barag holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He also holds a Juris Doctor from the New York University School of Law and is licensed to practice law in the state of New York.

For more than three decades, UCLA Extension's Paralegal Training Program has been at the forefront of training individuals for successful careers as paralegals. The program was one of the first to be approved by the American Bar Association, and continues to make additions to its curriculum to keep pace with changes in the paralegal profession.
