Wine Women & Shoes Returns to Monterey County

July 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Salinas, CA. – Wine Women & Shoes returns to Corral de Tierra Country Club on Saturday August 27th to benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County.  Guests will sip and swirl select wines from Monterey and Napa County, and shop the afternoon away during a fabulously fashionable marketplace featuring designer shoes and accessories.  Delicious hors d’oeuvres will be served as guests meander through the marketplace and experience the poolside live auction and fashion show.  Wine Women & Shoes is not to be missed - it is the event to attend this summer!

New this year for the men (and women) is the Puff, Putt & Pour putting challenge.  Test your putting skill and win great prizes.   Doors open for the “sip ‘n shop” marketplace at 2:00 p.m. and the poolside live auction and fashion show featuring local models will start shortly after 4:00 p.m.  Throughout the event, the Wine Women & Shoes signature “Shoe Guys” will show off featured designer shoes and choice wines to guests.  The day ends with more “sip ‘n shop” and a grand raffle finale.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County (BGCMC) has played an integral role in the community for over 43 years. With Clubhouses in Seaside and Salinas, BGCMC provides youth between the ages of 6-18 an afterschool safe haven where they are mentored to achieve academic success, acquire lifestyles, and develop good character and citizenship. Over 95% of the total budget comes from generous individuals, corporations and foundations.
