Follow on Google News | Music With A Mission: Local Bands Battle To Benefit Children With Chronic And Terminal IllnessNew York, NY – July 18, 2011 -- On Thursday, July 28th four up and coming local bands will vie for the title of ArtWorks Battle of the Bands Champions. The fundraiser will take place from 8:00pm to 11:00pm at Arlene’s Grocery.
The contenders are Bern and the Brights, Late Cambrian, Life Without Warning, and Keith Paine, and they each bring a unique sound to the competition. Each band will perform for an esteemed panel of celebrity judges including Publisher of Guitar World Magazine, Greg DiBenedetto, Q104.3 On-Air Radio Personality, Maria Milito, Songs Music Publishing Head of A&R Ron Perry, and President of Musinart, Jonathan Rhinegold.
