CYBEX adds to fitness equipment portfolio at training facility for Sale Sharks

July 20, 2011 - PRLog -- As an existing CYBEX customer, the fitness equipment range at the site now includes a Bravo Functional Trainer, CYBEX’s leading strength training apparatus. Designed to provide the user with the best in selectorised and cable-based strength training, the Bravo offers more training options and versatility than any other product in its class. Able to train both the upper and lower body, the Bravo’s features include an advanced cable adjustment system and CYBEX’s unique progressive stabilisation pad, both of which have been specifically designed to provide endless training possibilities.

The Bravo has also been installed at the training facilities of championship side Nottingham Forest FC and at the home gym of boxer Ricky Hatton, highlighting its popularity in professional sport as a key piece of strength training equipment.

The arrival of the Bravo has added to a range of CYBEX equipment already in use at the facility, which includes a CYBEX FT360 Functional Trainer and a plate loaded Smith Press. As part of CYBEX’s strength training range, the Smith Press is designed to be heavy duty, space efficient and user friendly, whilst supporting the training needs of users at any level of fitness.  

Based in Carrington, Sale’s High Performance Centre has undergone recent significant redevelopment, in preparation for the side who returned to pre-season training last month. Recognised as a Centre of Excellence, the facilities in Carrington are used by a number of professional sports teams, including Italy U18s, England U18s, England Rugby League and Manchester City FC Academy.

The install was managed in partnership with ABK Performance, a provider of sports programmes and training centres to sports clubs, educational establishments and athletic institutions.
