John Hutton, Manassas native and 45 year volunteer with the Greater Manassas Volunteer Rescue Squad stated, “Walk-ins are welcome. We usually have about 30-35 donators, but we have more and more [donators] each drive.”

The American Red Cross has issued an appeal for blood donors of all types due to a critical shortage across America. In May and June, donations were at the lowest level the American Red Cross has seen during this timeframe in over a dozen years.
