Carlsbad Village Association Hosts the Silent Auction Give Art A Chance for Local Artists

July 24, 2011 - PRLog -- The Carlsbad Village Association will be holding a Silent Auction- GIVE ART A CHANCE, beginning on July 22nd to August 25th, where on the evening of the August event, we will announce the winning bidders of the auction. Viewing and bidding will take place for approximately 3 weeks prior to winning announcements.

The first art pieces donated, have begun the auction and will be on display at the 10Hr Art Gallery, a temporary site, sponsored by the Carlsbad Chocolate Bar located at 2959 State Street.  The gallery will be open until July 30, 2011 days, to begin with from 1-7pm and we welcome your visits, bidding and comments.

So as not to curtail the momentum of new incoming art we have created a Silent Auction website has been setup especially for viewing the pieces, with details and information about your favorite artist, so don’t miss it.

Live viewing of the art will be available at an additional location to be announced soon  for the month of August and bidding sheets are available now at the 10 Hr Gallery location.
