Everonn launches Master Resource Centre
for Skill development

•   To train master trainers for skill development
•   11 more MRCs to be launches pan-India
•   To bring in global standards in skill training


CHENNAI, JULY 25, 2011: In a first of its kind project to enrich training in the country, Everonn Skill Development Limited (ESDL) today announced the launch a Master Resource Centre (MRC).

The centre, located at ‘Everonn House’ here was formally inaugurated by Mr.  S. Ramadorai, Advisor to the Prime Minister in the National Skill Development Council.

The MRC concept has been designed to meet the huge requirement of trainers for teaching the vast humanity of unskilled personnel in the country. MRC will have sector-specific master trainers who will train the trainers in skill development and vocational guidance. These trainers will in turn be placed in various Everonn Multi Skill Development Centres, as well as other Institutions, NGO’s, Academic Institutions and so on to upgrade skill sets of students across the country.

Mr. P. Kishore, Managing Director - Everonn Education Limited, said: “We at Everonn feel privileged to have launched the first Master Resource Centre in India. Skill Development is not an easy task and the country today faces a tremendous shortage of expertise in training. This initiative, we are sure, will help in moulding and nurturing the young talent thus creating a vast talent pool. This is our humble contribution to the skill development in the country as the nation gears up to face global competition in various sectors. This is only a beginning as we plan to launch 12 such MRCs pan-India.”  

The MRC is also the country’s single largest content development facility meeting the requirements of basic training to advance diploma across various sectors. The centre will bring in the best practices from the world over in simulated training, and be an incubation centre for new ideas and methods of training.

Everonn Skill Development Limited has, in a joint initiative with NSDC, launched ‘International Skills School’ to skill 15 million students by the year 2022.
