Toastmaster John C. Morley, CEO and founder of The JMOR Connection, Inc., Appointed Area 24

Aug. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- John C. Morley, CEO and founder of The JMOR Connection, Inc., has been appointed to serve as Area 24 Governor for District 83 for the organization’s 2011-2012 year.  John is a Computer/Network /Telecom & Software Engineer who currently holds several trademarks in technology.  The JMOR Connection is located in Mountain Lakes, NJ was founded nearly 20 years ago.

An active Toastmaster for 15 years, John has served in several leadership positions with the Parsippany Toastmasters Club.  These positions have included Secretary, VP Public Relations and President.  John also served as a member of the district council.  The district council is the governing body of the district, subject to the general supervision of the Board of Directors. It conducts all the business of the district.

In his new role as Area 24 Governor of District 83, John serves as the direct liaison between the District 83 and the clubs in his area.  One way that he serves clubs is through the area club visits. These visits are crucial to understanding how clubs are fulfilling member needs, and how the district is successful in supporting and meeting the needs of each club.

Leisure activities for John include reading, sailing, golfing, fishing, speaking, listening to music just to name a few.  In 1983, John, a graduate of the University of Hartford was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout from troop 108.
