Follow on Google News | ![]() Battle of the Bands Participants Lit Up the Stage for a Cause Worth Fighting ForAt the inaugural ArtWorks Battle of the Bands four local up and coming bands rocked Arlene’s Grocery in support of arts programming for hospitalized children.
After much deliberation from the panel of celebrity judges including Publisher of Guitar World Magazine, Greg DiBenedetto, Q104.3 On-Air Radio Personality, Maria Milito, Songs Music Publishing Head of A&R Ron Perry, and President of Musinart, Jonathan Rheingold, Life Without Warning took the title for the night with their edgy guitar riffs and pitch-perfect harmonies. “We are on cloud nine,” said Zack Kenworthy, guitarist for Life Without Warning. “We are still in shock and can’t believe it!” The band was awarded complimentary studio time with Bennett Studios, a photo shoot with David Goldman Photography sponsored by Foto Care, a gig at Arlene’s Grocery, gift certificates to Sam Ash Music Stores, and the featured artist spot on TalentSplash.com.
