Wild Florida Announces Completion of 500 Foot Dock

Aug. 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Wild Florida, an airboat tour and alligator exhibit  attraction, is pleased to announce the completion and grand opening of its newest amenity, a 500 foot dock and sightseeing pier.  One of the largest and most beautifully constructed commercial docks in Central Florida, it will give visitors a chance to better embrace the natural beauty and splendor of Florida wildlife.

Wild Florida is located in Kenansville, Florida, located roughly 60 miles SSE of Orlando.  The park was created to give tourists and locals the chance to experience an airboat eco tour and Florida wildlife attractions at the same location.  Wild Florida is positioned on Cypress Lake, which is at the headwaters of the Everglades.

In addition to the constant sightings of wildlife, alligators and birds, Wild Florida's pier gives customers access to some of the most incredible sunsets in the region.

"This dock puts guests right in the middle of the swamp and delivers an outstanding experience," says Ranier Munns, co-founder of Wild Florida.

Open to all guests of Wild Florida, the dock will be the main loading and unloading platform for every airboat ride on the 4,200 acre nature preserve.  Its long-term purpose is to be the “perfect start and ending” to Wild Florida's airboat rides.  

The official ribbon cutting is scheduled for September 14th .  Visitors are encouraged to bring cameras to photograph and film this historic milestone for Wild Florida.
