Aug. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- There are four floor plans available to choose from and they range from the smallest model 21BC at 22' 8" in length up to model 29BG at 31' 10" in length. All models are gas powered and built on a Ford or Chevy chassis. Fuel capacity also varies depending on the model selected although all are designed to be fuel efficient.

Model 21BC is the only one not to have a standard Queen-size bed but all models provide all the essential appliances for comfortable trips. The 80" interior ceiling height is good and gives a spacious feel to the smaller models. The ceiling ducted air conditioning system helps keep the interior well ventilated and fresh even when everyone is indoors.

The interior on all models is a high quality and stylish cinnamon maple cabinetry in a European style with hidden hinges. This adds to the overall style of the Siesta B+ and helps it stand out from some other motor homes in its class. Other standard features common to all models is the soft touch vinyl ceiling, the fluorescent ceiling lighting, directional reading lights and day or night shades throughout. This helps add up to a good basic offering where all members of a travel party can relax in style and enjoy modern home comforts on the road.

All models also feature a six gallon water heater which provides ample water for hygiene purposes. The fresh water, grey water and black water storage capacity does vary between models but all have sufficient capacity to meet the needs of even the most demanding users. If anything, the Thor Four Winds Siesta B+ could do with more exterior storage capacity. Other models normally provide an abundance of storage capacity even when it is not necessary. However, every extra cubic foot of storage capacity leads to a temptation to travel with more items and this can impact heavily on overall fuel efficiency.

In some regards, the Siesta B+ turns the comparatively low exterior storage capacity into a positive. It means people learn to travel light and therefore more efficiently. Everyone knows that eventually things will accumulate when traveling so some extra caution should be taken to avoid this, especially if using the smallest model where there is only four cubic feet of external storage. It would still be ideal for short weekend breaks, but could pose a potential problem if planning to go on extended breaks.
