In this economy and in the funeral business in general it is very uncommon to expand a new business within a decade of opening. Perhaps it is because they have initiated many unique service items like the motorcycle and horse drawn hearses.  They also offer many memorializing services such as balloon releases, tribute videos and musical services.

“We deal with sorrow on a daily basis and we truly wanted to embrace our families with new and unique concepts to help with their loss,” said Daniel Dwyer, Funeral Director and Owner of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. “We frequently convert our visitation rooms into welcoming reception rooms with a festive like atmosphere including catered refreshments and music to create a true Celebration of Life of their loved one.” More and more guests are requesting this type of service in place of a more somber, traditional funeral reception.
