Urban Active Fitness Ranks #11 of Top 100 Gyms in the United States

Club Industry Magazine ranks the nations workout facilities, declaring the top corporate revenue generating gyms
 
Aug. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- Every year, Club Industry Magazine, the highly respected fitness business publication, ranks U.S health club companies by total corporate revenues.  Urban Active, owned by parent company Global Fitness Holdings headquartered in Lexington, made the 11th position with a reported $100.2 million revenue in this year’s Club Industry’s Top 100 Clubs List for 2010.  This is an impressive jump from ranking #13 in 2009, with a sixteen percent increase over its then reported $86.7 million revenue.

Taking the top five spots again this year were fitness heavy-hitters, 24 Hour Fitness ($1.35 billion),LA Fitness ($1 billion),Life Time Fitness($912 million),Club Corp ($812 million),and Bally Total Fitness ($550 million).
