Mobile Window & Door Screening Business Makes Bellflower Debut

Aug. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- Bellflower & Thousand Palms, CA - Screenmobile®, a mobile screen repair and replacement service, today announced Dillon Walker, as its newest franchise owners whose operation will serve Bellflower and the surrounding areas. Dillon is the youngest of three generations of Walkers to join the Screenmoible family business that was started by Monty Walker Sr., in 1982. The mobile window and door screening service has since grown into a franchise corporation with nearly 100 locations serving customers in 26 states.

“I have always known that I would become involved with Screenmobile in one way or another,” said Dillon Walker, owner of Screenmobile Bellflower. “Starting as a franchise owner offers a great opportunity to learn the family business from the bottom up and I intend to make the most of it.”

A 2009 graduate of Palm Desert High School, Dillon will serve his Screenmobile customers while simultaneously pursuing a degree in business.

“Through hard work and dedication, Screenmobile has developed a reputation for superior customer service while providing convenience to the homeowner in need of window and door screen repairs,” says Dillon Walker. “I look forward to carrying on this tradition and serving the screening needs of my customers in this area.”

In addition to window and door screens, Screenmobile provides custom built solutions for screened in porches, pool enclosures and pet doors. Job are completed on-site, usually on the same day by utilizing Screenmobile’s self-contained truck and trailer as a workbench. Each franchise is trained on use of the on-board chop saw, power generator and other materials stored in the trailer.

Monty Walker Sr. retired in 2004 but still keeps a close eye on the company he founded.

“Dillon has grown into a fine young man with a great deal of confidence,” said the elder Walker. “It would be very pleasing to me to see his children and grandchildren carry on the tradition.”
