Calgary’s Shift Talent Hosts An Invitation Only Industry Mixer For Clients, Models And Talent

Shift Talent is set to host a VIP client party at SPUR Gastro Pub in Calgary on Friday September 2nd to kick off the fall fashion season. SHIFT also plans to welcome and introduce new models, thank previous clients, as well as welcome new ones. The unique part about the event is that all of SHIFT talent’s models are not only invited to attend, but will also take part in hosting. SHIFT’s models and talent will greet new comers at the door, hand out goodies, and even put on a few small fashion shows. The event aims to show clients how SHIFT in unique, offering a full service marketing approach to clients.  SHIFT Talent’s director Dorian Dunkley says, “…it’s all about giving our clients what they want, and satisfying needs. Our administration and our talent work hard to help not only local designers, but clients in every sector – many people don’t realize that models and talent can help with everything from fashion events to direct sales on the corporate level”

SHIFT is clearly proud of their talent pool as it is rare that clients have the opportunity to interact directly with the models and talent in a networking event setting – normally, clients view and select models and talent from afar.  SHIFT believes that a direct engagement and interaction is the best way for client to build lasting relationships and gain a full picture of how models and talent can support their industries.  SHIFT is excited to see growth in the creative industries, but is of course ready and able to support Calgary’s business sector as well. Dunkley says, “rather than complain about our creative industry, we [businesses] need to adapt or “SHIFT” to grow with it and help build it”.

SHIFT’s VIP event is guest list only, and tickets are not provided for sale.
