Gilly Lynn Clothing Collection to Debut in Baltimore Fashion Week Finale

Aug. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Charleston, SC  –  Local designer Amanda Gill presents her professional fashion debut as Baltimore Fashion Week celebrates its fourth annual runway show.  The four-day event will feature 44 collections, two of which will be presented by reputable clothing giants, Banana Republic and Coldwater Creek.  Baltimore Fashion Week 2011 will be held from August 18 through August 21st in the Scottish Rite Masonic Center, located in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in Baltimore, Maryland.

Gill will be enthralling audiences with a mix of cocktail and daywear on the finale evening of Sunday, August 21st.  Her debut will feature a Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection under her brand, Gilly Lynn.  While this show will be her first clothing collection, Gill has had success with her accessories and curated vintage collection in Charleston’s retail market.

Gill founded Gilly Lynn LLC in December of 2010, as a resident of Charleston, South Carolina and is looking forward to introducing the collection to her home state of Maryland.  As a recent Magna Cum Laude graduate of the Fashion Design and Merchandising program at West Virginia University, Gill is excited to launch her first clothing collection.
