JAWS Artist Roger Kastel Launches Official Website

Aug. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- For the very first time, Roger Kastel is bringing his artwork to the internet with the launch of his official website RogerKastel.com.

There are not too many people who do not recognize the artwork of Roger Kastel.  In pop culture and beyond one simple word instantly brings an image to mind.  The word is JAWS, and that image was created by artist and illustrator Roger Kastel. An iconic image, Roger's painting of the large great white first appeared on the cover of the paperback edition of the novel, JAWS, by Peter Benchley.  The image was so striking that it was then used as the poster art for the Steven Spielberg blockbuster film adaptation of the book.

In addition to the JAWS artwork, Kastel is also responsible for a number of timeless images including the Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back movie poster, romance novel covers featuring Fabio, cover art for Hollywood Wives by Jackie Collins, and many more.
