The Battle Royale Model Competition 2011

Aug. 26, 2011 - PRLog -- The Battle Royale will be held on Friday August 26th, 2011 at 7pm at The View ~ a spacious venue on 800 N. Broad street  at the top level of the People for People building  with  views of the entire Philadelphia Center City .  This competition will take place in four parts which include a finale.  The winner in each category will receive a cash prize of $100.00 and the grand prize winner will receive $250.00. There is a $30.00 entry fee for all participants and that will cover any and all categories you would like to compete in.

The Battle Royale and it's creator Marcus Gary and staff are elated to be supported by an extravaganza of approximately 21 events taking place during 17 Days Of Fashion. A portion of the proceeds raised from this event will go to obtain school supplies for children in the Philadelphia area.

Successful in pulling together some of the fashion industryʼs top  players to judge this event, such as Sabir Peele, Celebrity Fashion Blogger and style maverick, Willie j. Hall, Celebrity Fashion Designer, stylist and NYC Fashion Week Host, Kharisma Mcellwane, model and CW Network personality, Seth London, NYC Agency photographer, Sherwin Rave, President/Ceo at FMD,  fashion and style expert and producer, Mahlot Sansosa, model and photographer for Rolling Stone, Stephanie Cain, fashionguru, stylist and runway show producer, and Dr. Will McKay, Celebrity Life Coach, Fashion Show Producer, Philanthropist having found The New Dimension Project.

Marcus Gary  insists that this will not be your  “run of the mill”  competition that  leaves aspiring models hopeless and helpless. With all who has been elected to make this event a success,  Marcus Gary guarantees that  in this competition “no one is a
loser.” Simply  because of the connections and the ability to network with industry professionals on a personal level.

This competition  was designed to emerge the skills of those aspiring a genuine career in the modeling industry. All of the challenges are attainable with  a touch of fun and excitement sure to incite creativity. This entire experience will be filmed and packaged into a pilot for a major network reality show entitled “The Competition”.

Tickets for general admission to this event are $25.00 and $35.00 for VIP who will also receive a gift bag and seat on the runway.
