Irene Trumps Beau Badrick

Aug. 29, 2011 - PRLog -- Wallingford, CT - This past Saturday, August 27th, instead of Beau Badrick's (http://www.beaubadrick.com) anticipated date to meet up with acts on the shared bill for the show at the Long Island 20th Annual Seafood Festival, he instead was anticipating a date with Irene, who packed a bigger punch.

The show had been booked long in advance; one of many festivals Beau played this summer, including filling in for Crystal Bowersox of American Idol in Cape Cod, MA, last month.  Beau and his live band were to join Disney's, Kicking Daisies, and Big Shot, featuring fellow Long Island born native, Michael DelGuidice.  (http://www.bigshottributeband.com) Well prior to the arrival of Irene's landfall in the Carolina's as a Cat 3 hurricane, management and the L.I. Maritime event coordinators declared traveling with the group of teens for the show was just too risky, even though it was slated to weaken as it got closer.  We all know how that story ended, and the entire festival was canceled.

The teen was signed the end of last year to a management, production and publishing deal, with Trod Nossel Artists, (http://www.trodnossel.com) released his 14-song CD, "Dreaming Still," in the spring, followed by the CD single and remix, "Break Away," this summer, along with his mobile apps for iPhone, Android and Blackberry.
