PACC Hosts Youth Road Hockey Scholarship Night at Wildflowers Cafe in Newmarket Ontario

Sept. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- PACC - Poverty Action for Change Coalition will be awarding our 2011 Mike Thornhill Memorial Award to start the evening followed by an evening of canned and Open Stage (Hosted by TP Entertainment). The award goes to one youth deemed a community leader from our road hockey event. The recipient is chosen by participants of the annual Youth Road Hockey Challenge played every March on Main Street in Newmarket Onatrio Canada.

Friday, September 23, 2011 · 7:00pm - 9:30pm

Open Stage Entertainers welcome.

Performers thus far include Bestov Elvis, Singer/guitar composer Fred Joly, and Rap sensations Khryme Syndicate. Original pieces welcome.

Light snacks and refreshments provided. Regular fare also available. Cover - pay what you can.

Funds raised will assist operating costs including for Oct 17 2011 International Day for Eradication of Poverty at Fairy Lake Park in Newmarket. This year's rally will include street performers lining up the paths, an artist's auction and other new features.
