Conscious Entertainment Mentors Youth... Are They The Next Star Material

Sept. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Josie Passantino, a sixteen year old from Illinois, has found herself living her dream. An already well adjusted liked and requested host for her own web radio talk show. Josie, dreams about being a professional songwriter. She also dreams of singing her own material. That is a dream that Conscious Entertainment owner, Milliea McKinney, is about to make come true. Milliea, broke into the music industry writing songs for the old time legends of country. Now she gives back by handing down her craft and lessons to her young student and, now friend, mentoring the art of songwriting. Walking Josie, and her mom supporter Tina Passantino, through the steps of this portion of the music business. Skyler Jett, a Grammy recognized artist and humanitarian, donated a connection to a prominent vocal coach, while McKinney, has been teaching Josie, how to write songs. together Milliea, mom Tina, and Josie, work to Produce her debut album entitled 'Life and Love Are Tricky.' Featuring, her debut single, 'Teen Age Girl,' Other Titles from her album include 'Life And Love Are Tricky, Practiced Boyfriend, Been Way Too Long, And Broken Promises. The record will carry the Jandar Record label with Music Publisher and Producer, Marsha Brown, and will be promoted by Brandon Hills Music, Conscious Entertainment and, Jandar Records. Debuting of the album is Schedule for January 2012.  But that's not all coming out of Conscious Entertainment. Again mentoring teens seem to be the theme. McKinney, has her hands in yet another project supporting and, mentoring Lenore Luca, from New Jersey. Luca, who has an already very successful  web radio show, 'TeenGrooveOnTheMove' will be adding a magazine to the addition also, entitled, 'Teen Groove On The Move'. Luca whose humanitarian heart and spirit gives back by working to bring awareness to the homeless.
Finally, McKinney, mentors Michelle Faile,  future singer, songwriter. A humanitarian, for Teen Abstinence Michelle, recently being excepted into medical school.
McKinney says, 'Mentoring Through Music' is the stepping stone of the future and it starts with our youth. Everyone has something they do for a living and, can give back in some way'. Milliea, goes on to say both Josie, and Lenore, give back with a program in collaboration with her company 'Teens With Dreams' having featrued teens on their program and then mentoring them with the valuable information and resource to make their dream a closer reality.
