Workshop on Ethical Hacking – a Prime Concern for the Young Guns

Sept. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- The workshop was delivered by the Great Hacking Guru Ankit Fadia.  The workshop started in the Audio-Visual room of the campus at 9:00 am where more than 100 students gathered to learn the basics of Hacking and how to prevent hacking and remain secured.

The workshop was inaugurated by the Executive Director of the Trust, Shri Probir Roy, Director of the institute, Prof. B.B.Paira & CEO of the Trust, Shri Pradip Kumar Agarwal. The workshop started with different case studies depicted by Ankit Fadia where the IP addresses of the computers were hacked which created a massive problem for the people concerned. Also the case studies included great examples of NASA, terrorist attacks in different places occurred in India recently and many more.
The modules which were included in the workshop were IP protection procedures, IP hacking procedures, IP scanning process, different software involved in tracking IP address and many more. At the end there was a game show among the students in the Computer lab where they got the chance to hack different email ids of their friends to apply the knowledge.
