CFO Colleague Appoints Jessica Ryals as Managing Partner

LAKELAND, Fla. - Dec. 19, 2024 - PRLog -- CFO Colleague, a US-based advisory firm specializing in higher education, announced today that Jessica S. Ryals has been named Managing Partner for the firm.  The appointment is effective January 1, 2025.

Ryals joined the firm in 2016 and was admitted to the partnership in 2021. She inaugurated the firm's GapSourcing practice where accounting and analytical functions are provided by qualified professionals at a fraction of an employee's cost.  Prior to her tenure at CFO Colleague, Ryals served as an Assistant Controller at Kenyon College (OH) , was a Business Intelligence Analyst for Australian health care insurer nib, and began her career as a financial statement auditor for Deloitte in their Rochester, NY office. Ryals, a licensed CPA, holds a Bachelor's degree from Houghton University (NY) and a Master's from Trevecca Nazarene University (TN). With her husband and four children, she makes her home in Mount Vernon, OH where she serves on the board of local Community Theatre organization MTVarts, Inc.

According to Jeff Spear, Founder of CFO Colleague, "Jessica's efforts in the GapSourcing division have been critical to our consistent, double-digit growth for a number of years.  We look forward to her firm-wide leadership as this transition unfolds." Spear plans to retire as founder and majority owner at the end of 2025.
