Sept. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- It was clear from the outset that Bradley's voice would be something extra special. Having struggled through expulsions from school and a drinking problem, Bradley told Dermot that he'd decided to turn his life around and prove he's not a bad lad anymore. After declaring "I've come to prove I've got something and I'm good, I'm not that bad lad anymore" to the judges, he launched into an astonishing performance which won a standing ovation from the audience, and drew gasps of astonishment from the xfactor judges Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos, Kelly Rowland and Louis Walsh.

The 16-year-old from Rainford confessed to the xfactor panel how his parents split a few years ago and how he became ‘confused’, becoming involved with ‘scallies and thugs’.

Brad went on to blow the judges away with his audition, a cover of Ed Sheeran’s The A Team.

‘When I was 12 years old I started getting involved with scallies and thugs and that's when I started getting in to trouble at school. I've been expelled from three schools. When I was 13, I got kicked out of my first school, when I was 14 I got kicked out of my second school. My mum and dad split up, I was confused. I was drinking on the streets, getting arrested by the police and it progressed from there.’

Before starting his amzing xfactor audition that gained four yesses from the judges, Bradley, said: ‘It's all in my past and I've come here today to prove to the teachers who think I'm a bad lad that I've got something good.’

Judges comments included:

Tulisa Contostavlos, who said: ‘I love that song, and now I love it even more.’

Gary Barlow: ‘Bradley it was unique, distinctive, full of personality, and I think you're going to be such a great part of this competition, I really do.’
