Follow on Google News | October is not just for Beer, it’s for Art and Wine Lover’s too!The Fourth Annual Art and Wine Festival is Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 1-2, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Pensacola Beach. From the art of hand-made jewelry, to the twists of wire sculpture, and the beauty of traditional paintings, something is there for you!
By: Romjue Advertising The Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce invites you to visit the artists at the main Artist Village in the Visitor Information Center parking lot. In addition, businesses throughout the island will be showcasing featured artists. Every artist will have one-of-a-kind pieces for purchase or custom order. Enjoy the intricate craftsmanship of metal and wire sculptures and hand-made jewelry, while you admire the beauty of paintings in oil, watercolor, and acrylic. Pottery, seashell and marine art, watermedia, lampwork artists, photography, candles; textile embroidery, and ornaments will also be on display at the Artist Village. Performing artists will show off their unique skills on the Artist Village stage. Featured on Saturday will be Janette Zaleski, Courtney Yovich, and Donnie Mills. Sunday will host Dancingly Yours; professional dancers, Blaire Ullrich and Raley Zofko; and Chuck Howard. Boogie Inc. will be playing music both days throughout the festival. Also, Pensacola Beach Songwriters’ While you are absorbing the beautiful hand-made art, take time to be mesmerized by the evocative aromas of the various wines available at several wine tasting locations island wide. Patrons can reach these locations by strolling or jumping aboard the wine tasting trolley. Enjoy live music aboard the trolley with a new artist every hour. Riders of the trolley must be 21and wristbands will be available for $5 per day aboard the trolley. To keep the kids entertained, visit the Kids’ booth inside the Artist Village.
