Ashford Radio announces Larry Acker’s upcoming video “Larry Acker on Weather”.

Sept. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Ashford Radio would like to re-introduce, Mr. Larry Acker, the founder of 3F Forecasts, and present his upcoming video that will be released in fall 2011. His video, will feature him sharing insights on his personal methods for forecasting, but will also provide future weather predictors with tips on how to stay ahead of moving systems and the important factors to prepare for.

Larry Acker is a regular on Ashford Radio where he discusses weather, weather patterns and how they affect commodity and stock prices. On his most recent show, Mr. Acker discussed how weather is the foundation for change in our habitat and how it directly and indirectly affects every aspect of our lives.  He went on to speak on the topic of the extreme droughts currently sweeping the mid-west as well as other major agricultural areas worldwide.

Mr. Acker completed his Agricultural Science Degree majoring in Geology and Chemistry at the University of Illinois.  He then went on to achieve his Masters degree. After graduating college, Larry went on to work for the USDA for over a decade and has since served as a consultant for numerous individuals, county and state units of government.

Mr. Acker has worked with weather and related interests since the late 1940s and began doing serious research using mainframe computers in 1979. He has published a newspaper weather column called 'The Hot Corner' since August of 1982, and is contributing information to several publications regarding the stock market targeting trader professionals.  

Larry was awarded the Certified Administrative Manager certificate from the Certified Administrative Management Society for work in finance and economics and was the first U.S. Government Employee to earn that designation. He was also awarded the Certified Professional Agronomist and Certified Soil Scientist from the American Society of Agronomy for work in soils and geology.  Larry is currently a weather consultant for a newspaper chain and does their short and immediate range forecasts. He is a member of the Foundation for the Study of Cycles and is also a contributing member of the America Weather Observers (AWO).
