Mania Hair Studio Is Now Offering Their Clientele An Organic Hair Color Service

Sept. 26, 2011 - PRLog -- Mania Hair Studio is proud to now offer their salon clients a green alternative to traditional ammonia based hair color services.  Introducing Organic Color Systems from Organic Salon Systems.  First introduced in Great Britain in 1990, Organic Color Systems is a professional only permanent hair color line that is 100% ammonia free.  It contains certified organic ingredients and natural plant extracts.  Organic Color Systems contains no animal products or by-products and has never been tested on animals.  In fact, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has certified this hair color line a “Cruelty Free and Vegan”

The color line contains over 65 intermixable tones, plus a range of activators and ammonia free lighteners.  Anything a traditional hair color can accomplish, Organic Color Systems can do as well, and better. In traditional hair color ammonia is used to “shock” open the cuticle and deposit color.  This procedure actually damages the hair by destroying the proteins in the hair that keep it healthy. Organic Color Systems uses a combination of warm heat (under the salon dryer) and an oil base, in which the pigment is suspended, to gently deliver the color into the hair shaft.  So, the condition of the hair is left more healthy, soft and shiny.  There is no “ammonia” odor, stinging eyes or scalp irritation, just a pleasant salon experience.
