WaterFilters.NET Selected as Finalist for Better Business Bureau 2011 Integrity Award

Sept. 29, 2011 - PRLog -- The Better Business Bureau of Minnesota and North Dakota has announced that WaterFilters.NET of Zumbrota, MN is among a select number of finalists for the 2011 Better Business Bureau Integrity Awards. The BBB Integrity Award recognizes companies who display an outstanding level of ethics and integrity in all of their business dealings. This award is open to all for-profit businesses in Minnesota and North Dakota, who are in good standing with the Better Business Bureau. Membership in the BBB is not required.

In order to be eligible, a company must first be nominated for the award. There are four available size categories based upon number of employees, ranging from Category I (ten or less employees) to Category IV (100 or more employees).  WaterFilters.NET qualified in Category II with thirty employees currently. After WaterFilters.NET was nominated for the Integrity Award, a team of associates completed the formal entry process. The entry asked the internet retailer to demonstrate their commitment to ethics by addressing the following four major areas of their business: Management Practices, Business Relations (both with customers and suppliers), Marketing and Sales Practices, and Reputation (in the broader industry and local community).

Integrity Award entries are reviewed by an independent panel of judges. The judges determine the finalists and award recipients for each category. All company finalists are recognized at the Integrity Awards ceremony, and award winners are announced live at the event. Past recipients include such well-known companies as Wells Fargo, Best Buy, and Pella Windows & Doors.
