Pharmacy OneSource Announces Free Webinar on Documenting in Clinical Pharmacy

Adamson will discuss the benefits and limitations of the current pharmacy documentation platforms. He will discuss the key elements to implementing a pharmacy documentation tool and describe the integration of a documentation and surveillance program into a pharmacy practice model.

About the Presenter: Robert T. Adamson, PharmD, is the Corporate Vice President of Clinical Pharmacy Services at the Saint Barnabas Healthcare System in New Jersey. His responsibilities include the supervision of clinical pharmacy activities in addition to the quality improvement and assurance activities relating to the provision of pharmaceutical care throughout Saint Barnabas Healthcare System. He also serves on the Infectious Disease Committee for the health system.

Adamson has conducted several disease research studies in the areas of infectious disease, oncology and oncology supportive care, and various internal medicine subjects. He was bestowed the Greg Santora New Jersey Pharmacist of the Year Award in 2006 and was nominated for the prestigious 2007 Codman Award for standardization of pharmacy practice within a health system. In addition to publishing his research in prestigious medical journals, he serves on the Editorial Board of Pharmacy Practice News, is a reviewer for both the American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy and Hospital Pharmacy, and presents his work at medical conferences nationally and internationally as well as on television.
