Morrison Blvd. in Hammond, Louisiana.
North Oaks Health System has partnered with the American Cancer Society to offer a complimentary dinner presentation of Look Good…Feel Better to women in cancer treatment on Monday, Oct. 17. This unique group program will be held from 6-8 p.m. in the North Oaks Rehabilitation Hospital Classroom, located at 1900 S. Morrison Blvd. in Hammond. Licensed cosmetologists will provide guests with practical advice about make-up and skin care for their unique needs, wig selection and upkeep, and the creative use of scarves, hats and turbans. Each woman in attendance also will receive a complimentary cosmetics kit matched to her skin tone and an instruction booklet to take home. Look Good…Feel Better is made possible by the volunteer efforts of cosmetologists and health care facilities nationwide. Registration is required, and space is limited.
