University of Delaware Students and Officials: To Win Over Mold Infestation

Students of University of Delaware were forced out from forty rooms because of suspected black mold infestation. UD officials confirmed that no mold-related illness has been reported.

Oct. 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Major mold infestation was discovered in forty rooms of the University of Delaware. Seventy-one students were transferred to other housings while their rooms are cleared and cleaned up.

The school officials haven’t received any report of mold-related diseases yet. Common symptoms show redness of the eyes or swollen face and skin. Nose may be irritated too as well as the throat. Toxins from mold are hazardous and it can trigger respiratory illnesses including asthma.
