McArthurGlen’s Bridgend Rolls Out the Red Carpet with the Opening of Frankie and Benny’s

Oct. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- On Saturday 8th October, Frankie and Benny’s opens its doors for the first time at McArthurGlen’s Bridgend Designer Outlet with a fun day out for all the family.

Opened by Mayor of the Borough of Bridgend, Cllr Chris Michaelides, the American-style 1950s chain will lay out the red carpet from 10am for its premiere at the centre. All afternoon and evening, stilt-walkers and fire-eaters will wow the crowd around the restaurant and entertain kids and adults alike. Everyone entering the restaurant will be snapped by paparazzi as they make their way along the red carpet and families can collect the pictures when they leave.  Once inside, a Michael Bublé lookalike will entertain diners as they eat with some of his classic rat-pack hits from 5-8pm.

Richard Garratt, Centre Manager at McArthurGlen Bridgend says, “The opening of Frankie and Benny’s will be a great family day out.  After a day’s shopping they can relax in the centre, give the little ones a treat and enjoy music and entertainment with tasty, good value food.”

The 200-seat restaurant, which specialises in traditional Italian pizzas and pastas, along with a wide range of classic American dishes, will create 55 jobs and is the 11th opening for the chain in Wales, following branches in Cardiff and Nantgraw.

Frankie and Benny’s is the second stand-alone restaurant at McArthurGlen Bridgend, joining Pizza Hut which opened in 2000.
