Oct. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Born Elizabeth Marie Camacho on March 10, 1991, in Hinsdale, Illinois, the "multi-racial, elegant, vivacious, and gifted" "phenom" professionally known as "Elíz" (e-leese) is a Pop/R&B singer/songwriter and actress. She is also referred to as "Ms. Sexy Sexy Sex", crediting her "sexy urban-Bollywood" international hit single titled "Sexy Sexy Sex" from her debut album "House of Mirrors" (unreleased). Turning down her acceptance to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, quoted as "The Harvard of the Sky" by Time Magazine (1979), Elíz's passion for entertainment reached far beyond the galaxy.
Elíz began expressing her talents musically at a very young age, primarily singing around the house, local talent shows, and at her church. At age 7, she wrote and sang her first "inspirational" song for the children’s' choir, titled "Lift Him Higher". In junior high, Elíz's music teacher noticed her “gift” for singing and encouraged her to compete in the National Honors Chorus competition where she represented her school, placing in the top finals for the junior high school level.
Accompanying her musical talents, Elíz had her first experience with a "script", casted as "Rebecca" in a local theatre post-production, Our Town, written by Thornton Wilder. Educating herself more in the acting division, Elíz participated and graduated, at age fifteen, from John Casablancas Modeling & Career Center in Raleigh, North Carolina with her certification in “Select TV/Print”. After graduating, Elizabeth signed with Maultsby Talent Agency in Wilmington, North Carolina. At age 17, Elíz's first experience "in front of the camera" began with her appearance in independent film Trumpet My Return, filmed in Savannah, Georgia, where she played as one of the troubled teen students.
Elíz's musical career began taking off in 2008 with her first ever stadium appearance, accompanied by an ensemble, chosen to sing the National Anthem during the President Obama Rally held at the Crown Arena in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Following the President Obama rally, Elíz's “star presence” became noticed by the “who’s-who” in the entertainment business. Elíz was casted into the role of her first musical stage play at Cape Fear Regional Theatre in the production of Westside Story (2009) playing the part of “Consuelo” as well as one of the principal roles, Taylor McKessie, in Disney’s® “High School Musical 2” On Stage (2009) as well as national appearances in TV commercials, including Coca-Cola® (2009) “Summer Fun” and ESPN-U® (2009) “University of Florida”. Also, Elíz was chosen to perform as one of the Ray Kennedy entertainers on the Palm Beach Princess Cruise ship, performing “The Sounds of Christmas” (2009) as the leading lady soprano. After her return from singing on the ship, Elizabeth then had a role in the upcoming movie “Changing the Game” as “Julissa”, the sexy, flirtatious Latina flight attendant directed by Rel Dowdell.
