"Bond" girl finds VIRTUE in new film role.

Oct. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Best known for her 1971 role as Plenty O’Tool in “Diamonds Are Forever” opposite Sean Conery, Lana Wood has reignited her film career lately in a string of independent films. Her return to feature films was the inspirational film “Book of Ruth” and a 2009 thriller “Renovation” which has a pending distribution deal. In the last couple of years she has stayed busy, both with Bond Girl appearances and independent film projects. Next year she will return to feature films, teaming up once again with “Renovation” director Robert H. Gwinn for a teen slasher film “Virtue”
The premise? Sixteen years after a grisly murder at a small town lake, a group of teens decide to celebrate graduation with a party on the very spot. Local legend set aside the group heads to the water but run into a gang of bikers who just happen to be camping just across the lagoon from them. After the local sheriff warns both camps to leave each other alone someone turns up dead and both parties blame each other for the tragedy until one by one they are picked off by an unseen killer.
Wood will be joined by “Renovation” costars DJ Perry (An Ordinary Killer) Anthony Hornus (Dog) Dean Mauro (One Long Day). Woods role is that of a mother who is hiding something from her children, though it’s not really obvious at the start. “I love surprise endings, and this script definitely has that.” Wood commented. Director Robert H. Gwinn said, “Lana and I have become good friends and I can’t wait to work with her again, this is a role almost written for her.”
Virtue is in pre-production and Rampant Entertainment and Collective Development are hoping to be able to start shooting in the spring of 2012. You can find "Virtue" on line at
