Newcomer Teen Artist, Beau Badrick, In The Running for Grammy in 2012

Oct. 21, 2011 - PRLog -- WALLINGFORD, CT - October 21, 2011 - Newcomer teen pop/rock artist, Beau Badrick, may be up for a Grammy in this year's 2012 awards. Badrick made the preliminary cut in various categories, including: Album Of The Year (for his debut release, "Dreaming Still"); Best New Artist, Best Engineered Album (Jaqulyn Bartomioli, Rob Cavalier, Edwin Cromley, Ian Mereness, Chris Sellas, Justin Watson), Producer of the Year (Darlene Cavalier); Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year  (Single "Break Away"); as well as the "Break Away" Single Remix, for remixer, Mike Mullally.

Badrick is certainly making waves since his connection last year at just 17 years old with Trod Nossel Artists, the management division of Trod Nossel Productions and Recording Studios (http://www.trodnossel.com). He released his debut record, "Dreaming Still," earlier this year, and the single remix, "Break Away," later this past summer. He's done several notable performances such as Mohegan Sun Casino and was called in to sub for Crystal Bowersox (last season's American Idol) when she had flight delays on Cape Cod, MA. His live shows are backed by his 4 male, one female teens to deliver his driving rhythms and catchy hooks. Badrick is a prolific songwriter, performer, and multi-instrumentalist.

While he is aware the competition is steep when going up against the major's of the music world, he is honored to even appear on the same page as them this early in his career.

Beau is scheduled to appear on Saturday, October 29th at a remote radio event at DeCormier Nissan (http://www.decormiernissan.com) in Manchester, CT, with Clear Channel Radio stations, WKSS (KISS 95.7 FM) in Hartford, CT and WKCI (KC101 101.3 FM) in New Haven, CT.
