Alexandra Burke Brings The X-Factor to McArthurGlen Cheshire Oaks

Nov. 3, 2011 - PRLog -- Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet is once again launching the festive season in style this year, with one of the UK’s biggest pop stars and fashion icons Alexandra Burke.

Alexandra will join a whole host of other music acts, including up-and-coming boyband Eli Prime, Liverpool singer Chelcee, 2011 X –Factor finalist Sophie Habibis and Joe McElderry  lighting Britain’s biggest Christmas tree on Friday 11th November between 5-8pm.

At over 90 feet tall, the tree is home to 80,000 baubles and 100,000 lights, making it the biggest tree lighting event in the country.

Last year’s event attracted over 15,000 people as chart topping boy band The Wanted pushed the button. The tree lighting has been a must-go event in the North West for the past 3 years, with previous performers including Shayne Ward, The Saturdays, Eliza Doolittle and Basshunter.

As well as chart-topping performances, visitors to this year’s tree lighting will be treated to exclusive promotions, money-can’t-buy prizes and a fireworks extravaganza.
