Follow on Google News | Galway Hooker Irish Pub to Host a "Restaurant Fundraising Night" Fall SeriesThe Galway Hooker Irish Pub is pleased to announce its implementation of a fall “Restaurant Fundraising Night” series, open to organizations looking to gather their affiliates while effortlessly raising funds.
By: Galway Hooker Irish Pub As an active organization in the local community, the Galway Hooker has developed a “Restaurant Fundraising Night” series in order to build brand awareness while helping contribute to local establishments. The fall series kicked off with J.V. Washam’s Elementary School night on September 28, 2011. Followed by nights benefitting: Although the economy has forced people to be more cautious about their dining habits, according to the National Restaurant Associations 2011 statistics, “74 percent of adults who agree the going out to a restaurant with family and/or friends gives them an opportunity to socialize and is a better way for them to make use of their leisure time rather than cooking and cleaning up.” Consequently, what better way to spend a leisurely evening than socializing with friends while raising money for a notable cause? Galway Hooker owner, Chris Boukedes, says “it gives the Galway Hooker team great satisfaction knowing that we can give back on these fundraising evenings, whether it be for a local charity or a child’s school, it’s nice to be part of a business that allows this!” Patrons interested in attending one of these Fundraising nights can view the Galway Hooker Irish Pub’s menu at: http://www.galwayhookerpub.com.
