Former Allscripts VP Joins MD Tech Pro as Medical Director

Nov. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- Dr. James Morrow, who recently served as the Medical Director and Vice President of Medical Affairs for Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, has joined MD Tech Pro as Medical Director.

In this new role Dr. Morrow will assist MD Tech Pro in developing a series of educational materials, webinars and events that will help medical practices with successfully transitioning and supporting a move to electronic medical records from paper charts. Dr. Morrow will also serve as an advisor to MD Tech Pro leadership in the development or improvement of current and future IT based service offerings.

Dr. Morrow is CEO of Morrow Family Medicine, a new state-of-the-art family practice in Cumming, Georgia.  He is a past winner of the HIMSS Primary Care Davies Award for Implementation of an EHR, and was recognized as the 2006 Physician IT Leader of the Year by HIMSS. Dr. Morrow recently served two years as Medical Director and Vice-President of Medical Affairs for Allscripts Healthcare Solutions before deciding to return to full-time practice.
