Freehold NJ Chiropractor Sponsors Annual Food and Winter Coat Drive Called "Baby It's Cold Outside"

Nov. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- For the 5th year in a row Dr. Russell Brokstein and the Association of NJ Chiropractors (ANJC) which is a non-profit organization are launching their statewide community service initiative, "Baby It's Cold Outside™" to help the less fortunate during the holiday and winter seasons.  

ANJC members will once again be running a food drive in conjunction with collection of donations of unwanted coats, hats, gloves and scarves in good condition for distribution to food pantries, local community groups and charities.

Anyone can drop off items to participating chiropractors who will then deliver them to Jersey Cares, Salvation Army, Goodwill and other charitable organizations throughout New Jersey.

Dr. Russell Brokstein, Freehold NJ Chiropractor and owner of Hometown Family Wellness Center located at 9 Broadway says, "This is one of the many ways I like to give back to the community I grew up in.  This is a great time of year when so many are celebrating that I can help those less fortunate by providing them with food, coats, gloves and scarves.  Many of us take for granted that we can bundle up when we go out in the cold, or when we get home we have the warmth and food waiting for us.  But the fact is many New Jerseyans don't have a good coat, outerwear or food for themselves and their family.  Our association members have practices throughout the state and can easily collect and distribute clothing and food to local organizations that will get them to the people who most need them this winter.”
