Nov. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- Our Client Mr. Sanjay Kumar Varshney of Udit Industries, is the proprietor and applicant for the patent application in respect of ‘Push Button Door Latch System’, in India under patent application no. ‘2718/DEL/2010 filed on November 16, 2010 which is the priority date for this application for this invention.

Please note that any patent filed after our priority date covering the same or substantially similar invention, shall not have the priority on this invention and consequently shall not have any legal standing, under the provisions of Patents Act, 1970 of India.

The patent application discloses ‘A push button latch system comprising: support base including a substantially hollow body; first tubular component defining a first slope, second tubular defining a second slope. The arrangement allows a simple and effective mechanism of operating a latch with a mere push of a button, and replaces the need of a conventional knob or a handle for the same. However, the system allows for additional gripping device which may include a knob or a handle which enables firm or comfortable grip to a user while usiing the system of the present invention. Additional systems for locks may be included with the said system.’

We hereby notify publicly and to whomsoever it may concern that in respect of the said application and the invention covered in the application, that any attempt whether successful or unsuccessful to copy, reproduce, use, recreate, import or practice the patent pending invention or any invention substantially similar to the patent pending invention, may be in contravention of law of India, and shall attract suitable legal action on Civil as well as criminal grounds, including claims of compensation and injunctions.
