Ancient Sites Of The Peak District - A Brand New Video Traverses Time & Conjures All The Elements

Atmospheric stone circles shrouded in mystery and myth, rise from the screen with the dawning of the sun. The Summer Solstice perhaps? This new video conjures up evocatively, all the myths and legends, the Peak District holds to its chest.

Nov. 29, 2011 - PRLog -- It can only be another stunningly gorgeous video from the winning team of Peak District Online and Terrybnd.  We expect no less now, from this superb partnership. Peak District TV is the place to be for all things Derbyshire and this video is a wonderful addition to the growing list of masterpieces, exploring parts of the Peak District no one else knows about yet - until now that is.

We walk in the footsteps of Geoff Watson, a Sheffield born and bred expert on all things ancient, with an accent to suit his Northern roots. He adds flavour and place to a video about a subject he is obviously passionate about, bringing us enticingly into his world - a world wondering about all things archaeological.

From the 'show sites' as he lovingly calls the large stone circles littering his beloved Peak District, to the more obscure cairns and standing stones, Geoff and Terry explore together the wonders of the past. Uninitiated, we would unknowingly walk on by, but with the help of this new video, we now know where to look to find ancient markers to the stars. It's an impressive collection of Rock Art that the Peak District has on offer - if you only know where to look.

Well now we do with Geoff's help. Thanks again Peak District TV - you're showing us once again, yet another reason to visit your part of the world. It's a truly beautiful and ancient place to stay.
