Spartanburg Photography Contest Winners

Dec. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- Spartan Photo Center has recently hosted their first annual photography contest open to the general public and now the votes are in. After a three and a half week voting process with the photos hanging in the Chapman Cultural Center the top fifteen photos were further voted on by the Facebook crowd.

Now, after all the voting, the tallies have been counted and the top three photographers have been chosen. . .  

Third Place and winner of a 16x20inch poster print of her winning shot (a black & white picture of a kitten overlooking a porch overhang) and several select prizes from the contest sponsors is Kristie Perks.

Second Place and winner of a 16x20inch poster print of his winning shot (vertical portrait in muted colors of Half Dome Mountain at sunset) and several select prizes from the contest sponsors is Sam Inman.

THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER, with over $300 in prizes, and winner of a Diana film camera, a poster print of her winning shot (an HDR image of a little girl in angel wings, halo, ballet slippers, a tutu, and holding a bouquet of flowers), also to be displayed in the store, free food and prizes from the various sponsors and an ad in the local paper is Laura Faye Weir!
