PRLog -- RICHMOND, CALIFORNIA, December 29, 2011 – Veteran restaurateur Martino of La Strada in San Pablo & Napa opens his third restaurant, Restaurante La Revolución (RLR), formerly Ground Round (by Hilltop Theatres) in Richmond, in partnership with a few friends. Martino couldn’t pass up the opportunity, when approached by a few friends or would-be-investors, to open another restaurant, one with a “revolutionary”
twist on gourmet dining experience. When asked how this is different from La Strada Restaurants in San Pablo & Napa, Martino responded, “First of all, this is a Latin-Fusion gourmet dining with 230 seating, an enclosed patio, bar and 2 banquet rooms. Open daily from 11 am to 10 pm, we feature classic dishes from Latin America, Spain and the Caribbean like Paella, Roasted Chicken with herbs, Grilled Pork loin topped w/ pomegranate, and we created signature tapas including Stuffed Chile with Dungeness crab in a chipotle cream sauce, Breaded Prawns with rum reduction and Tropical Ceviche, just to name a few. We only use the freshest ingredients, fresh produce, fresh meats, poultry & seafood!” The restaurant location is ideal for Martino and his partners. “The reason we chose this location is that it’s centrally located in the West Contra Costa County! Impeccable customer service with great tasting food and a great location are keys to an enjoyable dining experience!” added Martino. ”We have been opened since early December 2011. Our guests have responded very positively, and they love the new look and feel of the restaurant,”

and the ‘Viva Cocktail Lounge,’ with signature drinks and tapas. Additionally, we surprise them with a little bit of a treat, an entertainment – adding to their unique dining experience at RLR!” added Alvaro. The Ribbon Cutting & Grand Opening celebration, a 3-day event commencing Jan. 6th Friday at 11 am and concluding on Jan. 8th Sunday at 10 pm, is expected to draw a huge crowd from the Bay Area.
