Wholesale Food Distributor AGAR Announces Connecticut Food Show January 17

Jan. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- New England Wholesale food distributor AGAR, product specialist for independent restaurants, retailers and other food service operators will host a food show in Connecticut on Tuesday, January 17. The show will be held at the Aqua Turf Club located at 556 Mulberry Street in Plantsville CT. Show hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Over 70 foodservice vendors in the AGAR network will have a presence at the new Connecticut Food Show. Vendors will be featuring a whole host of foodservice products including Beef, Seafood, Pork, Lamb, Poultry, Desserts, produce as well as Paper and Plastic goods, Dry & Frozen Grocery items.  Recently there has been a renewed commitment with expanded service offerings to the state of Connecticut.

There will be many sections of the food show focusing on AGAR’s specialties including Latino, Pizza/Sub, Seafood and Center of the Plate solutions. There will also be chef demonstrations and timely deals for show-goers.
