John Lewis To Launch New US Men's Brand Grayers In The UK For Spring/Summer 2012

John Lewis is exclusively launching new Stateside casual men’s brand Grayers in the UK for Spring/Summer 2012.

Jan. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- John Lewis is exclusively launching new Stateside casual men’s brand Grayers in the UK for Spring/Summer 2012. Founded by ten-year Ralph Lauren veteran Peter Georgiou, who brought together an all-star industry team that includes former Ralph Lauren Vice President of Concept Design, Kenny Thomas, now Grayers’ creative director, and collaborator Todd Snyder, former head of men’s design at J. Crew. The pedigreed team is filling a gap in the casual men’s market by creating a collection that marries high quality design with competitive price points.

Available in select John Lewis stores and online in early February, the new Grayers collection is vintage-inspired with a modern preppy lineage. A casual collection with a smart attitude, the range incorporates bright weathered colors and fabrics with a beautiful touch and feel. Based on the fundamental men’s must-haves, the range includes outerwear, knitwear, jerseys, polos, shirts, shorts and chinos with prices ranging from £18 for a classic t-shirt to £125 for a military style trench coat.

Looking to the Duke of Windsor and Steve McQueen, the King of Cool, as inspiration, Grayers is masterfully created with details and washes that evoke weathered looks with provenance and refined elements of a classic bygone era.
