PCI SSC Certifies Aeris Secure As An Approved Scanning Vendor

Jan. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Aeris Secure, a leader in PCI compliance management solutions, announced today that the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council (SSC) has certified it as an Approved Scanning Vendor. The ASV certification allows Aeris Secure to help merchants, who accept credit card payments, become PCI compliant. The ASV certification compliments the PCI compliance management services currently offered by Aeris Secure.

As an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV), Aeris Secure can provide vulnerability scanning services to merchants accepting credit card payment. The scans are required by the PCI SSC.  The PCI DSS required merchants to pass an ASV scan once a quarter. By integrating ASV scanning with the Aeris Compliance Engine, merchants can now initiate, manage and report scans and PCI compliance status to their merchant account provider from a central dashboard.
