Bollywood Super Star Sanjay Dutt launches SaiDhuni

Jan. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- SaiDhuni, promoted by a Dubai based group, is a non-profit initiative that deploys technology to bring spiritual contentment to 300 million devotees of Shirdi Sai Baba worldwide by reincarnating Sai Baba’s sacred Dhuni that Baba lit up 153 years ago in Shirdi.  On January 15, 2012, the SaiDhuni website http://www.dhuni.org was launched by Bollywood’s super star Sanjay Dutt in an event organized to promote his forthcoming movie Agnipath, starring with him Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif.  In a symbolic gesture, Mr Dutt, transferred Saibaba’s sacred fire from an iPad’s virtual Dwarkamai Mosque environment to an iPhone device kindling world’s first ever manifestation of a spiritual fire into the virtual world.  In a conversation with Mr R V Ramgopal, the lead trustee and the principal force behind the SaiDhuni project, Mr Dutt expressed his interest in SaiDhuni application for his own mobile device.  The SaiDhuni videos are available at SaiDhuni’s channel in YouTube at

On the occasion Mr Ramgopal, said, “As a Sai devotee this is my dream project.  The fire to spread the blessings of the Dhuni that Sai Baba himself lit up 153 years ago has been burning within me since my last visit to the Dwarkamai Mosque in Shirdi.  Essentially SaiDhuni is reincarnation of the spirit of Sai Baba’s original sacred Dhuni from the real world to a virtual world of smart devices using 21st century technology. It is like carrying the live blessings of Baba 24/7. I do believe our initiative will bring much happiness and spiritual satisfaction to all the Sai devotees worldwide.  Our mission is to not only to spread Baba´s blessings across the globe, but contribute to charitable causes.”

The SaiDhuni website (http://www.dhuni.org) is formally launched, and available for the subscribers to sign up and pre-register for the service.  The first version of SaiDhuni application will go live on 26th January, 2012.
